On behalf of the Knights of St Columba, our families and our Members of Honour.

Today will live on in our memories for the rest of our time on Earth. You have been a God Send. Your selection in March 2013 heralded a new and important phase in our Catholic life. You have impacted young and old Catholics and even non-Catholics.

Our condolences to your family in Argentina, and indeed our condolences to the Catholic Family around the World.

So, so sad to learn of your passing. We wish you safe journey. You have left us so much. You have taught us so much in your time as our Beloved Pope.

May your Soul rest in peace. May our Good Lord grant you Eternal Rest in Heaven.
