Event Cancelled due to COVID19 - Corona Virus
"Regretfully I write to inform you that the Dowry Tour visit to Westminster Catherdal has been postponed due to the Coronavirus situation.

"We hope to reschedule this event later in the year, when more of the faithful will be able to attend.

"With apologies for the late notice of this decision, which has only just been taken.

Following the death of our beloved  Archishop Emeritus Peter Smith RIP, funeral arrangements have been organised as follows:

Sunday 29th March 2020 18:00
Reception into St George's Catholic Cathedral 
followed by Cathedral Mass, presided by Archbishop John Wilson

Monday 30th March 2020 12:30
Funeral Mass, presided by Archbishop John Wilson.
Burial in the Cathedral Crypt after the Funeral Mass.

Purpose of the Order of 
the Knights of St Columba 

The Order's purpose is to work closely with the Hierarchy and Clergy in promoting the teachings of Jesus Christ in all things appertaining to the Catholic Faith and to be committed to the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. 
Mission Statement 
The Knights of St Columba is an Order of Catholic men bound together in Charity, Unity and Fraternity in order to enrich their own faith and spirituality and by their own words and actions to proclaim the spiritual, moral and social message of the Catholic Church.

Founded in Glasgow Scotland in the year 1919, the Knights of Saint Columba is the largest Catholic fraternal service organisation of its kind in Britain. 
The Order is named after the missionary Saint Columba of Ireland. The pious saint helped to bring Christianity to the people of Northern Britain. 
Our membership cuts across people from different walks of life, who by dedication, share in the principles of Charity, Unity and Fraternity.

6th March 2020 - Archbishop Emeritus of Southwark Diocese Passes to his eternal rest.
On the morning of the 6th of March we received the sad news of the passing of HIs Grace Peter Smith, Archbishop Emeritus of Southwark Archdiocese.  News of his funeral arrangements have been given but, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic it will be attended by only his family.
March 2020 - Corona Virus takes hold in Great Britain and causes Mass and Event cancellations.
With the spread of Corona Virus the Hierarchies of England & Wales and Scotland have had to make the tough decision to close all Churches. See our COVID-19 Page for more information.
